SAVE SAD (SOUTHERN) MORAVA

On the occasion of promotion of campaign  and activities of cleaning of coasts of river Morava, which will be held on Friday, April 15th with motto “Save SAD (Southern) MORAVA” on the coast of river Morava in Vranje, under patronage of City and City Municipality of Palilula, it is formed network of organizations of civil society aimed that representatives of NGOs in Nis include in this activity. According to Boban Mikic, member of the Council of City Municipality of Palilula and coordinator of activities for this region. Network includes organization: Green Network of the City of Nis, media EKOpolis Network (promoter of world ecological campaigns “Clean up the World”, Voluntary Center, ZOO Planet, Puls, Green up You, Students Parliament and other interested organizations. This is according to Mikic, some kind of support to the people from Vranje  on the occasion of the beginning of action “Save sad (southern) Morava”.

On the press conference which is on this occasion held in Media Center Nis an invitation is sent to all interested volunteers, NGO of city of Nis to join to this action. Sing participants is to Thursday, April 14th until 8pm on the phone number 063/444-289. Then according by the words of coordinator of this activities will be formed groups. Bus for Vranje runs from Nis in Friday, April 15th 2011 in 8am, point of departure is the plateau at Gusar.

How the problem of pollution of Southern Morava is and the problem of Palilula Municipality and City of Nis, we expect a return visit to the people from Vranje very next month when it will be organized action of cleaning of Southern Morava and in the area of our Municipality – said Boban Mikic.
